designer? I’m not really sure any more. I still think of myself as a a designer in the sense of someone who things about the design of things in a broad sense, as well as what I what have meant by that term ~4 years ago, plus now I’m also a general builder or whatever.

Labels aside I just love making stuff. I love fitting pieces together. I love thinking about why things work the way they work or feel the way they feel. Everything we use was made by someone. And then, creativity as a form of human expression and almost like a fundamental thing I think we have as people, and wanting to tap into that, and just how good it feels to bring things into the world!

what i’m inspired by? what I think about? things like “craft” (bad word), how things feel, small tools that are useful and extremely well fit

been finding ways to work with AI, agents, etc (Stash was born out of this)

my stance on AI: hate slop, super excited by how it can amplify

love thinking about systems, how things fit together, and how to design stuff that embodies

feeling like a lot of new things are now possible when thinking about code as another medium for expressing design. of course I also love building products, but i’m really intersted in exploring

making this site as a central place to hold all the stuff I’m making, but trying to have it not just be finished projects but also just a place to see all the things i’m thinking about, getting inspired by, throwaway work, abandoned ideas, reflections on my own process, etc. Really trying to see if I can treat it like some kind of public computer, I guess, and see what comes out of it
