receipt camera [WIP]

the object

A cheap camera, a cheap computer, a few physical knobs, and a thermal receipt printer. Point it at something, tune by feel, press the shutter, and the print is the reveal: a 1-bit photograph and a poem about what it saw.

where it is now

The object does not exist yet. The web prototype is testing the image-and-text recipe, the knobs, and whether having no preview feels delightful instead of frustrating.
